Sicilian Whiskey selects matured bases and works on small-batch finishing at its Caltagirone workshop. The local contribution is the work on wood, blending and the aromatic profile: this is not a claim that every ingredient or stage of production originates in Sicily.

Wood as part of the flavour

The crew’s method uses 10, 20 and 50 litre micro-casks and Virgin, Medium and Spiced staves. Small batches allow the finishing to be monitored directly and the balance between wood and spirit to be assessed.

During the experience, ask how the wood changes the profile in the glass. The visit explains the method; a live demonstration of all production stages is not part of the published tasting.

Three expressions to compare

Red Fox, Export Proof and Angel Share offer a comparison of different intensities. A guided tasting connects the bottle, the people behind it and the place where finishing is carried out.

Meet the crew

The factory tasting lasts 30 minutes and costs €15.00 per person. You can ask questions and buy available bottles afterwards; buying is optional.

Factory tastings and aperitivo: Monday-Friday, at least 4 hours ahead. Forest experiences and dinner: weekends, at least 24 hours ahead. Published availability and confirmation are always required.

Factory experiences take place at Via Domenico Tempio 46, 95041 Caltagirone (CT). Forest walks meet in Santo Pietro Square; the group reaches the trail in participants’ own cars. Dinner is at Tenuta San Pietro. Transport is not included. Use the directions in your confirmation and ask about parking and access before travelling.
